The city of Brentwood will host a grand opening ceremony April 29 to mark the completion of the new Brentwood Police Department headquarters.

The new 56,000-square-foot facility, located at 910 Heritage Way, Brentwood, features a 911 emergency communications center, a firing range, crime labs, a municipal court room and space to house the entire department, which has been working from Brentwood City Hall.

The event, which will be held virtually and livestreamed via Facebook and YouTube, will include remarks from Brentwood Mayor Rhea Little, Williamson County Mayor Rogers Anderson and Brentwood police Chief Jeff Hughes.
