Mitsubishi to hold job fair for more than 150 open positions in new Franklin headquarters

Mitsubishi Motors North America is having a job fair Aug. 27-28 for 150 positions, according to a release from the company.

The company is relocating from Cypress, California, to Franklin. Some employees are already working from the Spaces Works coworking space at 3401 Mallory Lane, Franklin, where the event will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day.

"This is the most comprehensive reimaging we've ever been through in the U.S., and to make it work we're seeking the best and brightest from both within and outside the auto industry," MMNA President and CEO Fred Diaz said in the release. "Our formal recruiting efforts kick off with this event, and we encourage anyone eager to help write the roadmap for our future to join us."

Positions are available in the sales, marketing, IT, human resources, communications, parts and service, product planning, dealer operations, finance and legal departments, according to the company.


According to the letter to Franklin residents, the elevated levels are believed to be a result of poor water circulation in that area, and the city began work in mid-February to extend water lines in that region for better circulation. (Courtesy Fotolia)

While the city is required to report the results of the testing, residents do not need to boil their water or take any other action.
