The school, co-founded by Mark Claypool and John McLaughlin, will serve students in grades 6-12. The campus will offer a family-friendly scheduling model as well as a blend of virtual and in-person learning with personalized curriculum.
The company also plans to open multiple locations in the Southeast by fall 2022, according to the release.
“Galileo is a unique schooling experience for students and their families,” McLaughlin said in a release. “Our team has worked hard to ensure we are providing something that is not found anywhere else in the state. There is nowhere else a student and their families are able to have so much control and freedom in their schooling.” www.galileopreparatoryacademy.com
