The Classical Academy of Franklin merges with The Pasture Pre-School

The Classical Academy, a Christian, pre-K-12 private school located at 810 Del Rio Pike, Franklin, will welcome former students of The Pasture Pre-School and introduce a new preschool program combining Montesorri methods with the school’s classical Christian approach.

“We look forward to adopting these methods of balancing child-centered and teacher-driven activities. Incorporating a more kinesthetic focus will allow our children to grow in a way which is more in line with how we believe God intended,” TCA Headmaster Eric Van Gorden said in a release. “This new program will reflect a more natural combination of tactile and cognitive development in younger students, and there’s currently nothing quite like it in our community.”

Applications are now open for the 2020-21 school year, and the new program will be applicable to children ages 3-5 with full-time and part-time options.

TCA will hold an open house for parents to learn more about the program, tour the school and meet teachers on Feb. 27 at 6:30 p.m. 615-790-8556. www.tcafranklin.org
