Chuy’s, located at 3061 Mallory Lane, Franklin, celebrates 10 years of business Nov. 13 for its location in Cool Springs. The Tex-Mex eatery hosts an all-day happy hour Nov. 13 with drink specials, cake, prizes and a contest to win free Chuy’s for a year. Chuy’s, which launched in Austin in 1982, offers a selection of Tex-Mex favorites, such as nachos, tacos, burritos and enchiladas, as well as margaritas and cocktails. 615-778-2878.

TDOT: No lane closures during Thanksgiving holiday weekend, Nov. 27-Dec. 2

To help cut down on travel delays during the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday, the Tennessee Department of Transportation announced Nov. 25 it will pause all lane closure activity on interstates and state highways.
