The nonprofit, which offers programs to help children of all intellectual and physical abilities through inclusive preschools and therapies, will host the drive from 1-6 p.m. at its campus, located at 301 High Hopes Drive, Franklin.
Donations will be sent to Blood Assurance, which is the sole supplier of blood products for Williamson Medical Center, according to a release.
“There is currently a critical need for blood donations to support hospitals nationwide,” High Hopes Executive Director Gail Powell said in the release. “We are grateful to host Blood Assurance on our campus to provide an opportunity for our staff and community members to give back to facilities in our own backyard.”
Donors must weigh more than 110 pounds and be in good health. Those able to donate will receive a free T-shirt. The nonprofit hopes to host quarterly drives in the future.
Appointments to give blood can be scheduled at bloodassurance.org/HighHopes.
