City leaders will convene to talk about local projects, accomplishments and updates from the past year during the 2022 State of the City Address at Rolling Hills Community Church, 1810 Columbia Ave., Franklin.

The address will be on May 11 at 7 a.m. and will feature remarks from Franklin Mayor Ken Moore as he discusses how 2021 affected the city and what 2022 will bring. This year’s theme, “Better Together,” will focus on how the community has come back stronger after the COVID-19 pandemic.

City Administrator Eric Stuckey and Moore will also give an overview of upcoming city projects, according to an announcement.

“I look forward to the State of the City Address every year,” Moore said in a statement. “We have one of the best city teams in the country, and this is my opportunity to shine a light on all the great work we’ve accomplished and projects we continue to develop. I hope citizens can take the time to come watch the presentation or tune in on social media to see what we are achieving.”
