The city of Franklin will host a neighborhood cleanup April 19-20 to collect debris following flooding in the area after a storm hit the region March 27.
According to an announcement from the city, bagged household waste will be collected at no charge. Larger items, such as appliances and furniture, will also be accepted.
Waste must be placed on the curb no later than April 18. Latex paint and tires will not be accepted; paint can be dropped off at the city's BOPAE location on Century Court, and tires are accepted at the county's landfill center on Pinewood Road.
