Blood drive to be held in honor of Brentwood police officer Destin Legieza on Aug. 26


The Brentwood Police Department and the Brentwood Fire Department will host its annual Battle of the Badges blood drive competition Aug. 26-27 at the John P. Holt Brentwood Library, located at 8109 Concord Road, Brentwood.

This year's event will be held in honor of officer Destin Legieza, who died in a car accident while on duty June 18.



City of Brentwood reports perfect score on water system inspection

Following an unannounced inspection from the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation, Brentwood city officials announced Aug. 20 the city has received a perfect score on a sanitary survey of its water system.

The total number of coronavirus cases in Williamson County has risen to 4,055 as of Aug. 21, according to the latest update from the Tennessee Department of Health. This marks an increase of 76 new cases reported in the county since the department’s last update Aug. 20.
