From Oct. 6-21, just over 6% of registered voters cast a ballot during the city's early voting, nearly twice the 2019 totals of 3.4%. In 2017, 4.9% of voters cast ballots early.
“Our turnout steadily increased the last four days of early voting, and on the final day just over 550 ballots were cast in person,” Williamson County Elections Administrator Chad Gray said in a release.
Voters in this year's election will choose four newcomers to join the BOMA. Those who have not yet cast a ballot will still have a chance to do so on election day Oct. 26. The county has set up eight voting locations that will be open from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. on election day. Find election day locations here.
