Parents, employees and community members are being asked to give input before Williamson County Schools selects its new superintendent later this year.
The WCS board shared a survey May 10 with staff and parents to help board members “identify the desired qualities of our next leader,” district spokesperson Carol Birdsong wrote in an email.
The search for a new superintendent began following the announcement earlier this month that former Superintendent Mike Looney had accepted a position in Fulton County, Georgia and will be leaving the district. The board named Deputy Superintendent Jason Golden as the interim superintendent on May 6. He will serve until a permanent replacement is chosen by the board. The next board meeting is May 20.
The deadline to participate in the survey is May 16 at noon. Those interested can take the survey here.
