Cases of coronavirus in Williamson County have risen to 2,599 as of July 15, according to the latest update from the Tennessee Department of Health.

This marks an increase of 37 new cases reported in the county since the department’s last update July 14.

There are now 1,502 active cases of coronavirus in the county, a decrease of 32 since yesterday.

Statewide, there are 81,944 total cases, 877 cumulative deaths and an estimated 47,852 recoveries to date. Twenty-four people have died of the virus in Tennessee since yesterday’s update.

Overall, more than 1.23 million COVID-19 tests have been conducted, according to the TDH update, including more than 23,000 reported in the last 24 hours.
