The city of Brentwood is partnering with the Tennessee Department of Health to host a pop-up event where residents can receive a COVID-19 vaccine.

The event will be held May 22 at the John P. Holt Brentwood Library, located at 8109 Concord Road, Brentwood.

The TDH will offer the Pfizer BioNTech vaccine to attendees age 12 and older. The Pfizer vaccine was recently approved for children ages 12-15, according to the TDH.

First doses will be administered on May 22 from 11 a.m.-3 p.m., and second doses will be given June 12 at the same location and time. Attendees will be required to wait 15 minutes after receiving each dose to monitor for any adverse reactions.

Appointments will be available but are not required. Residents can sign up for an appointment time here.
