Williamson County has announced its mask mandate meant to help limit the spread of coronavirus has been extended through Dec. 29.

The order was issued Oct. 30 from County Mayor Rogers Anderson's office following an extension of an executive order from Gov. Bill Lee that allows county mayors in Tennessee to institute individual mask mandates through Dec. 29.

As of Oct. 31, Williamson County had 765 active coronavirus cases, up from 379 active cases at the beginning of the month.
