Active cases of coronavirus in Williamson County have declined for the fifth day in a row, according to the latest data from the Tennessee Department of Health.

There are 1,058 reported active cases as of Sept. 1, a decline of 2.4% since Aug. 31, according to the TDH.

Williamson County Schools remains in the low spread threshold of its reopening framework.

Statewide, Tennessee has had 156,329 reported cases since the pandemic reached the area in March. Nearly 7,000 individuals have been hospitalized and more than 1,700 have died. An estimated 118,885 have recovered from the virus.

More than 2.2 million tests have been conducted statewide, according to the TDH.
