Williamson County coronavirus cases rise by over 30 in 24 hours, active cases continue to decrease

Cases of coronavirus in Williamson County have risen to 3,056 as of July 27, according to the latest update from the Tennessee Department of Health.


This marks an increase of 35 new cases reported in the county since the department’s last update July 26.

There are now 1,308 active cases of coronavirus in the county, a decrease of 30 since yesterday.


Statewide, there are 102,871 total cases, 1,033 cumulative deaths and an estimated 64,234 recoveries to date. Thirteen people have died of the virus in Tennessee since yesterday’s update.


Overall, more than 1.47 million COVID-19 tests have been conducted, according to the TDH update, including more than 24,500 reported in the last 24 hours.
