Cases of coronavirus in Williamson County have risen to 2,943 as of July 27, according to the latest update from the Tennessee Department of Health.


This marks an increase of 47 new cases reported in the county since the department’s last update July 26.

There are now 1,435 active cases of coronavirus in the county, a decrease of 73 since yesterday.


Statewide, there are 96,489 total cases, 978 cumulative deaths and an estimated 57,239 recoveries to date. Eleven people have died of the virus in Tennessee since yesterday’s update.

Overall, more than 1.41 million COVID-19 tests have been conducted, according to the TDH update, including more than 28,500 reported in the last 24 hours.
