Williamson County coronavirus cases rise by over 70 in 24 hours

Cases of coronavirus in Williamson County have risen to 2,788 as of July 24, according to the latest update from the Tennessee Department of Health.


This marks an increase of 71 new cases reported in the county since the department’s last update July 23.

There are now 1,488 active cases of coronavirus in the county, an increase of 24 since July 23.


Statewide, there are 89,078 total cases, 938 cumulative deaths and an estimated 52,983 recoveries to date. Thirteen people have died of the virus in Tennessee since yesterday’s update.


Overall, more than 1.32 million COVID-19 tests have been conducted, according to the TDH update, including more than 26,500 reported in the last 24 hours.
