Cases of coronavirus in Williamson County have risen to 2,648 as of July 22, according to the latest update from the Tennessee Department of Health.
This marks an increase of 49 new cases reported in the county since the department’s last update July 21.
There are now 1,470 active cases of coronavirus in the county, a decrease of 32 since yesterday.
Statewide, there are 84,417 total cases, 888 cumulative deaths and an estimated 49,748 recoveries to date. 17 people have died of the virus in Tennessee since yesterday’s update.
Overall, more than 1.26 million COVID-19 tests have been conducted, according to the TDH update, including more than 25,500 reported in the last 24 hours.
