Cases of the coronavirus in Tennessee have risen to 65,274 as of July 13, according to the latest update from the Tennessee Department of Health.
This marks an increase of 3,314 new cases reported since the department's last update July 12, making it the largest daily increase reported by the TDH since July 8's reported increase of over 2,400.
The daily totals also include 749 cumulative deaths, 3,284 cumulative hospitalizations and an estimated 36,996 recoveries to date, with eight people having died from the virus in the last 24 hours in Tennessee.
In Davidson County, there have been at least 13,976 reported cases. Williamson County has reported 1,939 cases.
Overall, more than 1,053,424 COVID-19 tests have been conducted, according to the TDH update, including more than 35,926 reported in the last 24 hours.
