Cases of the coronavirus in Tennessee have risen to 53,514 as of July 7, according to the latest update from the Tennessee Department of Health.
This marks an increase of 1,359 new cases reported since the department's last update July 6.
The daily totals also include 665 cumulative deaths, 2,950 cumulative hospitalizations and an estimated 31,827 recoveries to date.
In Davidson County, there have been at least 11,599 reported cases. Williamson County has reported 1,420 cases.
Overall, more than 920,000 COVID-19 tests have been conducted, according to the TDH update, including more than 16,500 reported in the last 24 hours.
