Cases of the coronavirus in Tennessee have risen to 35,553 as of June 22, according to the latest update from the Tennessee Department of Health.

This marks an increase of 451 new cases reported since the department's last update June 21.

The daily totals also include 531 cumulative deaths, 2,301 cumulative hospitalizations and an estimated 23,567 recoveries to date.

In Davidson County, there have been at least 7,668 reported cases. Williamson County has reported 782 cases.

Overall, more than 699,000 COVID-19 tests have been conducted, according to the TDH update, including more than 14,000 reported in the last 24 hours.
