Cool Springs Brewery, located at 600 Frazier Drive, Ste. A, Franklin, announced in an April 19 social media post that it is facing imminent closure due to the economic effects of the coronavirus pandemic.

“We wanted to reach out to our customers and thank you for your support over the years,” a staff member of Cool Springs Brewery said in the post. “Cool Springs Brewery is a place many of you have enjoyed, and it is with this in mind that I write to let you know of the situation we now face.”

According to the post, Cool Springs Brewery had yet to receive a CARES package from the government, and the amount of revenue received from the establishment’s to-go services will not be enough to support it for much longer.

“If CSB can not substantially increase its to-go business, permanent closure is inevitable within as little as two weeks,” the staff member said in the post. “Thanks for the support and we hope to be able to serve you in the near future.”

Also listed in the post is a deal for 15% discount for takeout orders and $10 growler refills at the brewery.
