Since the first case of coronavirus was identified in Williamson County on March 5, positive cases have continued to rise throughout Tennessee, with over 4,600 identified statewide as of April 9.

Of the 59,849 tests completed in the state, the vast majority came back negative, with 4,634 having come back positive for coronavirus.

Despite individuals of older age being the most vulnerable and at-risk populations for the harmful effects of the virus, those with the highest number of cases identified by the Tennessee Department of Health have fallen into the 21-30 age group.
