Early voting begins in Franklin city elections

Early voting in Franklin's municipal elections opened to residents the morning of Oct. 2, according to the county.

The early voting period ends Oct. 17. Election day is Oct. 22. To vote before election day, registered residents may stop by the Election Commission Office at 1320 W. Main St., Ste. 140, Franklin. Hours for early voting are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m.-noon.

Voters will select between two candidates for each of three at-large seats on the Franklin Board of Mayor and Aldermen. Mayor Ken Moore and Alderperson Ann Petersen are running unopposed for their seats, respectively.
