Voter registration for Franklin city elections ends Sept. 23

Franklin residents who wish to vote in this year's local elections must register to vote by Sept. 23.

The Williamson County Election Commission sent out a press release reminding residents of the deadline for registration, which can be done by mail, online or in-person at 1320 W. Main St., Ste. 140, Franklin. Registration by mail must be postmarked by Sep. 23.

“It is important for individuals to make sure they are registered to vote if they want the opportunity to have their voices heard at the ballot box in the upcoming election for Franklin candidates,” Administrator of Elections Chad Gray said in the release.

Early voting is Oct. 2-17. Election day is Oct. 22. Voters will select four at large alderpersons and the mayor.
