Guy Fieri's Flavortown Kitchen launches delivery-only service from Cool Springs

Joining a number of virtual locations in the U.S., Guy Fieri's Flavortown Kitchen launched a virtual kitchen operating from Cool Springs in February.

The delivery only-service offers a number of dishes created by the Food Network personality, including Cajun chicken Alfredo, cheesesteak eggrolls, cheeseburgers, sandwiches and more.

Bloom & Branch Organic Spa offers organic products, holistic approach

After years of working in traditional spas and skin care boutiques in Nashville, Lisa Shearer, who now co-owns Bloom & Branch Organic Spa, said she felt there were not enough natural products offered in the industry.

New virtual restaurant Fresh 96 Kitchen opens in Franklin

Fresh 96 Kitchen, a virtual kitchen operating out of Scout's Pub in Westhaven, opened March 17 at 158 Front St., Ste. 120, Franklin.

The delivery and to-go only restaurant is the third virtual kitchen for A. Marshall Hospitality, which also opened Burger Dandy in Franklin and NASHi Noodles in Nashville earlier this year.

SpringHill Suites opens in Cool Springs and launches new bar and eatery, The Library

SpringHill Suites opened in mid-February at 5011 Aspen Grove Drive, Franklin. The new hotel, part of the mixed-use center McEwen Northside, features business and fitness centers, meeting rooms, a pool and The Library, an on-site bar and restaurant that offers wine, beer, small plates and handcrafted cocktails.

Big Bad Breakfast to open new location at Liberty Station in Franklin

Big Bad Breakfast will open a new location at 1201 Liberty Pike, Franklin, in April, according to the company.

The restaurant, which also operates a location in Nashville, offers breakfast and lunch, serving signature dishes, such as shrimp and grits, chicken and waffles, biscuits, and breakfast skillets.

Franklin Theatre to launch phased reopening, announces summer lineup

Officials with the Heritage Foundation of Williamson County announced March 10 the Franklin Theatre will launch a phased-in reopening beginning this May with live, in-person shows and movies.


Duck Donuts to open new location in Brentwood

Duck Donuts will open its third Tennessee location later this spring at 101 Creekside Crossing, Ste. 1000, Brentwood.

The locally owned franchise, set to be operated by Matt and Allison Davenport, will offer made-to-order doughnuts with a viewing area where customers can watch their order be made.

Pies by Gigi rebrands Brentwood shop

Owner Gigi Butler announced March 9 her Brentwood shop, Pies by Gigi, has rebranded to become Gigi's Kitchen. The bakery and cafe, located at 330 Franklin Road, Ste. 906D, Brentwood, will now also operate as a restaurant, according to an announcement from the business.

Williamson County

Mobile vet service Dr. DeCozio Heals on Wheels launches in Williamson County

The business, which serves Franklin and Brentwood, offers house and barn calls for veterinary services including wellness and preventive care, acupuncture, laser therapy, herbal medicine, nutritional counseling, rehabilitation and performance medicine.

City of Brentwood debuts $29 million police headquarters

The $29 million project, which is funded through the city’s capital improvement program, features more than 56,000 square feet of space, a far cry from the department’s existing offices at Brentwood City Hall.
