Sal's Family Pizza in Franklin adds outdoor seating

Sal’s Family Pizza, located at 595 Hillsboro Road, Ste. 311, Franklin, announced plans earlier this summer to add an outdoor service patio to its existing restaurant.

As of mid-September, the eatery has already added new tables, with plans to add more in the future.

This year has been a tough one for many restaurants in the Greater Nashville area, but many, such as 1892 in Leiper’s Fork, have learned to adapt to a new normal as businesses in the area have reopened.

FIRST LOOK: Sister-brother team aims to encourage creativity at Spark: An Art Studio

Managing partners Lynn Harnen and RJ Chesna are the faces behind Brentwood’s newest make-your-own art studio, Spark: An Art Studio.

Harnen and Chesna, who are also sister and brother, opened Spark in late August at Hill Center Brentwood. Inside the studio, customers will find a wide selection of glass and tile pieces in an array of colors and shades—the medium for a handcrafted art piece to take home.
