The new mural, titled, "What Lifts You?," features a series of kites with tails that visitors can take photos holding onto and is painted on the side of Vintage Vine 100, located in McEwen Northside along Aspen Grove and McEwen drives.
McEwen Northside officials announced the mural's debut in mid-May.
“When the world has settled again, this mural will represent what I always want to ask: ‘What Lifts You?’” Montague said in a release. “These kites will be uplifting and fun images that hopefully stop people in their tracks and get them to reflect on what is most important to them. But right now, in the midst of a pandemic, kites are metaphors for hope—something we have to keep hanging on to. There is a light at the end of the tunnel. We just have to keep hanging on.”
