The city's Summer Concert Series, which was canceled last year due to the coronavirus pandemic, will kick off June 6 at Crockett Park, located at 1500 Volunteer Parkway, Brentwood.
The series will feature four concerts each beginning at 6 p.m. and ending at 8 p.m. Concerts will also feature food trucks such as Blue Monkey Shaved Ice, Bradley's Curbside Creamery and Roadhouse Grille. This year's 4th of July concert will also feature fireworks at 9 p.m. and a post-show performance, according to the city.
This year's lineup includes:
- Bicho Brothers on June 6
- Six Wire on June 20
- Tim Akers and the Smoking Section on July 4
- Rubicks Groove on July 25
According to city officials, face masks are not required; however, attendees are encouraged to wear one if they feel more comfortable doing so.
“I want to see the concerts continue," Mayor Rhea Little said in a release. "Even for the July 4th concert, which can sometimes see close to 10,000 in attendance, I feel people will stay in their own groups of friends to be safe in this new post-COVID climate.”
