In lieu of hosting its annual One Night Only fundraising gala, regional theater group Studio Tenn has announced it will hold an online virtual variety show fundraiser.

The show, hosted by Studio Tenn's Artistic Director Patrick Cassidy, will be held Aug. 27 beginning at 7 p.m. and will feature regional performers including Jason Graae, Megan Murphy Chambers, Patrick Thomas and Deanna Anthony.

The event will be free to watch at www.studiotenn.com; however, a donation of $25 is suggested.

“I’m truly amazed at the talent and dedication of our Studio Tenn family in creating this special online event,” Cassidy said in a release. “Our team has come together like never before, proving that the joy of performing arts cannot be stopped or limited by even the most extreme circumstances. I’m proud of this musical variety show and excited to give Franklin a night of song and celebration.”

In addition to performances, the event will also feature an online silent auction with items such as a guitar signed by Luke Bryan, tickets for the Nashville Predators and a vacation getaway up for grabs.

Auction bidding has already begun and will continue though 8 p.m. Aug. 27.

Residents can learn more about the event at www.studiotenn.com.
