The city of Franklin announced the temporary closure of several parks and roads in the area due to high water from rain on Thursday.
So far, Third Avenue near Bicentennial Park and Lewisburg Pike between Mack Hatcher Parkway and Franklin’s downtown are closed, according to the city’s official Facebook page.
Additionally, the city has announced the closure of the following parks:
- Pinkerton Park
- South Harlinsdale
- Eastern Flank
- Bicentennial Park
