The city of Franklin will host an informational community meeting at the Eastern Flank Battlefield Park Event Venue for those wishing to learn more about plans for the newly-annexed 474 acres of land in Franklin, located in the Goose Creek area.

The land, annexed in late 2019 following an election referendum in which 19 property owners voted to join the city, consists of 474 acres across 26 parcels located around Long Lane and Pratt Lane east of I-65.

City staff will provide informational exhibits showing recommendations, and residents are invited to come and go as they like and provide feedback and ask questions.

The open house will begin at 5 p.m. and lasts until 7 p.m. and will take place at 1368 Eastern Flank Circle, Franklin. For more information on the event, visit the city of Franklin's event page here.
