Chicago-based eatery Parson’s Chicken and Fish opened Wednesday, Aug. 7, at 425 Chestnut St., Nashville, according to a public relations representative for the company.

The restaurant's menu is divided into two sections, fresh and fried, and features items such as fried chicken, peel-and-eat shrimp and other dishes. Parson's Chicken and Fish, which has two locations in Chicago, is located in the May Hosiery Co-Op mixed-use development.

The Nashville location, which offers seating for up to 200, features a pet-friendly outdoor seating area attached to the main indoor restaurant and bar space, according to a news release. 615-649-8823. www.parsonschickenandfish.com
