Jet's Pizza to close Lumber Drive location in Franklin

Show map
Jet's Pizza will permanently close its location at 102 Lumber Drive at 10 p.m. on Sept. 21, according to a sign posted on the eatery's door.

The closure comes as a result of anticipated construction work on Columbia Avenue, according to the announcement.

"We are excited by the growth we are seeing in our home of Williamson County. Unfortunately, that growth does not come without some changes," the sign read. "We have always had the goal in mind of making sure we can properly serve our customers and community. The pending road construction on Columbia will hinder our ability to continue to provide that service. Additionally, we are looking to the future and how we can continue to position ourselves to grow."

Two other locations of Jet's, on Liberty Pike and Hillsboro Road, will remain open. Additionally, the announcement said the eatery is working toward continuing delivery to some of the same areas near the Lumbar Drive location. The eatery offers a selection of Detroit-style pizzas, sandwiches and salads.

"We would like to take this time to humbly thank you for your business over the years and welcome your continued loyalty to Jet's Pizza of Franklin," the announcement stated. www.jetspizza.com
