Big Sarg's Home Cookin', previously located at 376 FM 1960 W., Houston, moved to 10750 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, this spring. A resident of the Houston area since 2011, Vanessa began working in community journalism in her home state of New Jersey after receiving an English degree from Drew University. She joined Community Impact in 2016 as a reporter for the Spring-Klein edition and became editor of that paper in March 2017 and editor of The Woodlands edition in January 2019. She is on schedule to receive a master's degree in English in early 2024, and enjoys reading, art, record collecting, horror movies and nature photography in her spare time.
