After sustaining major flooding damage during Hurricane Harvey, the H-E-B Kingwood Market will reopen its doors Jan. 19. Meanwhile, the store's gas station began normal operations Jan. 8. The 105,000 square-foot store, which is located at 4517 Kingwood Drive, Kingwood, will be reopened after major renovations and a new design, said H-E-B Unit Director Tony Klaus.

“Kingwood has been through so much and we are more than thrilled to re-open and help restore our community,” Klaus said in a statement. “We hope this will serve as a catalyst to further recovery.”
