Cypress residents Jessica and John Wilson recently broke ground on Childrens Lighthouse Learning Center at 8717 Fry Road, Cypress. The area’s second “values-based” early childhood education center is set to open this summer with 11,000 square feet of classrooms, play area and kitchen space.

Childrens Lighthouse caters to children from a few months through 12 years old. After-school programming and summer camps will also be available. Parents can have peace of mind with online video links to rooms, computerized building entry, security monitoring and transportation to and from area elementary schools.

Curriculum focuses on intellectual development, social and emotional growth, active learning through hands-on lessons and embedded content that emphasizes the basics of phonics, reading, math, science and social studies.

“Our Lighthouse will offer individualized care in a loving and nurturing environment, providing parents with the utmost sense of security that their child is being cared for,” Jessica Wilson said in a press release.
