Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers opens in Tomball on Oct. 29 at 27619 Business 249. Grand opening activities begin at 8:30 a.m. with entries for a "Lucky 20" drawing, where 20 customers ages 13 and older will receive free Raising Cane's for a year, according to an Oct. 23 news release. Contestants must be present to win. Entries will be accepted from 8:30-9 a.m., and the drawing will take place from 9-10 a.m.

A ribbon-cutting with the Greater Tomball Area Chamber of Commerce is set for 9:30 a.m. and will feature the presentation of a $1,000 donation to Abandoned Animal Rescue, a nonprofit animal shelter based in Magnolia, according to the news release.

The first 100 customers ages 13 and older to dine in at the new Tomball location and purchase a combo meal will receive a complimentary Cane's T-shirt and voucher for a free combo that can be redeemed at a later time.

The Louisiana-based restaurant company offers chicken finger meals, Texas toast, Cane's sauce and crinkle-cut fries. This is the restaurant's first location in Tomball. Raising Cane's also plans to be involved in the local community, General Manager James Massick said in the release.

“We are excited to bring Caniacs in Tomball a Raising Cane’s to call their own,” Massick said in the release. “We’ve assembled an incredible crew, and the new restaurant is in a great location in Old Town Tomball. We look forward to getting even more involved with local schools and organizations throughout the area, and we can’t wait to become an integral part of the community.”

The new Tomball restaurant will be open daily from 10 a.m.-midnight. www.raisingcanes.com
