New space mission to launch at Grapevine’s Legoland Discovery Center

Legoland Discovery Center Dallas/Fort Worth will debut a new building experience called Space Mission on March 3 at Grapevine Mills mall, located at 3000 Grapevine Mills Parkway, Grapevine.

Space Mission will allow guests to explore alien planets built out of thousands of Lego bricks. Visitors will be able to build their own spaceship, operate mission control and make a Lego rocket blast off into outer space.

To celebrate the expansion, Legoland Discovery Center will host a social media contest. To enter, children are encouraged to build and submit a photo of themselves with their own original space-themed Lego creation for a chance to launch the first Lego rocket in Space Mission during the grand opening on March 3. To enter, parents must include a contact number, the child’s name, age and city with submission and email to contest.dfw@legolanddiscoverycenter.com by Feb. 21. The winner will be announced on their Facebook page on Feb. 23.  For full contest rules click here.
