Texas Humane Heroes’ Rescue Roundup raised $20,000 for the nonprofit, which has no-kill dog and cat adoption centers in Leander and Killeen.

The event was held at Texas Humane Heroes’ location at 10930 E. Crystal Falls Parkway, Leander and included a Rescue Run 5K and Chili Cookoff aimed for families and their dogs.
