Clarification: The original information contained in this story was based on information received from another source. The story has been updated to show that Christian Brothers Automotive, which is co-owned by Brad and Crystal Escue, will continue to operate on the land sold.
The property containing Christian Brothers Automotive, located at 1020 E. Sonny Drive, Leander, has been sold–but Brad Escue said he and his family will continue to operate the business.
CBH Properties Leander, a Texas LLC, sold the property to South Shore Skating Inc., a New York corporation, in a 1031 exchange, according to an email from Jason Vitorino with Strive, a Dallas-based real estate company. The property has a 15-year absolute NNN lease in place, according to a press release from Strive.
The press release said Strive represented the seller, and the property was on the market for less than seven days. Additional details of the sale were not disclosed.
Christian Brothers Automotive is a chain of repair shops throughout the East and Midwest. Escue, whose entire family helps operate the business, said they plan to be there for “30 years.”
