Round Rock restaurant Greenhouse Craft Food will expand with a second location in late October or early November at 708 S. Austin Ave. on the Georgetown Square.

Greenhouse Craft Food’s new restaurant will feature a menu similar to the location in Round Rock with some of the restaurant’s classic items, such as The Greenhouse BLT and poblano gouda soup. However, the Georgetown location’s menu will have its own identity, including a stronger emphasis on dishes with smoked meats, chef Todd Engel said.

“I think we’re going to bring something a little different to Georgetown,” Engel said.

The new location will not serve a breakfast menu but will have weekend brunch as well as beer and wine options. Engel said the Georgetown restaurant will be a counter-service eatery.

Greenhouse Craft Food serves burgers, sandwiches and soups and uses locally sourced ingredients in its dishes. The future location on the Square will be in a spot previously occupied by The Hollow restaurant, which closed in March.
