The Trail Foundation, a local nonprofit that works to improve the Butler Hike-and-Bike Trail at Lady Bird Lake, broke ground on its
Trail Bridge at Congress Avenue project March 28. The $2.5 million project was funded by private donations to The Trail Foundation. The new 72-foot pedestrian bridge will be safer and include a scenic bat-viewing area when it is completed this summer. 855-448-7245.
