Fort Bend County bond
Fort Bend County voters can vote for or against a $82.9 million flood bond. The bond will not raise tax rates and includes 25 projects. For official ballot language, visit www.fortbendcountytx.gov.
METRO bond
If approved, Proposition A will allow the Metropolitan Transit Authority of Harris County to borrow up to $3.5 million to help implement a plan for updating the transit system. It is not expected to raise sales taxes, and the agency will continue to share tax revenues with cities in its service area under the General Mobility Program. 10 Texas state constitutional amendments
Texas voters can vote for or against 10 amendments to the state’s constitution Nov. 5. The Texas secretary of state’s office prepared a breakdown on how the ballot language will read and what each proposition actually means, which can be viewed at www.votetexas.gov.
