The city of Tomball will host a National Day of Prayer gathering May 6 at the Tomball Historic Depot Plaza, located at 201 S. Elm St., the city announced in a press release May 5.

The annual event begins at noon featuring area ministers, including Tomball Police Department Chaplain Gary Crowe, River of Praise pastor Richard Jennings, Tomball Bible Church pastor David Hinkle and Tomball First Baptist Church pastor James Clark, according to the release. The Tomball High School Navy Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps. will also take part in the ceremony.
