With all precincts reporting, incumbent Travis Moffatt appears to be the victor in the Magnolia ISD board of trustees race for Position 6. Montgomery County election results show Moffatt received 63.24% of votes, or 862 votes, and challenger Sharon Craig received 501 votes, equaling 36.76% of the vote.

Moffatt could not immediately be reached for comment.

Initial early voting results show incumbent Travis Moffatt is leading the race for Position 6 on the Magnolia ISD board of trustees, according to the Montgomery County Election's Office.

Moffatt, an optometrist and owner of Moffatt Eye Care in Magnolia, has served on the MISD board since 2015, Community Impact Newspaper previously reported. According to early voting totals in Montgomery County, Moffatt has received 66.75% of the 764 votes with candidate Sharon Craig, a retired teacher, receiving 254 early votes, or 33.25% of the vote.

Craig previously taught at Magnolia High School and presently teaches at Extraordinary Education, a home school co-op program, Community Impact Newspaper previously reported.
