ChristBridge Fellowship hosts the final weekend of its inaugural pumpkin patch, which is open through Halloween. In addition to pumpkins for purchase, the location also features fall photo opportunities, giant table games and more. Proceeds from pumpkin sales go toward the Tomball J.O.Y. Corn maze and pumpkin patch

Salem Lutheran Church hosts a 5-acre corn maze in the shape of an old steam locomotive to honor the early days of Tomball as a railroad hub and center of commerce in north Harris County. Other activities include hayrides, a pumpkin patch and yard games. Texas Renaissance Festival

This weekend’s theme is All Hallows Eve, featuring trick or treating throughout the village for children, a costume contest for children and adults, and a kettle corn-eating contest. Thousands of people visit the festival each year. Each weekend in October and November, festival attendees dress up and explore the Renaissance-themed park. The festival features food and drink vendors, live entertainment and more than 400 shops. Entertainment options include parades, jousting and theatrical performances. Shops sell a variety of medieval goods, including glasswork, leatherwork, potions and musical instruments. Each Saturday night, the festival hosts the adults-only TRF After Dark, a costume gala with dancing and food. Early voting
through Nov. 4

Registered voters can cast their ballot at any early voting location in their respective county through Friday, Nov. 4. Weekend voting hours differ by county. Montgomery County residents can vote early in Magnolia at the Magnolia Community Center, located at 422 Melton, from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 29, and noon-5 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 30. Harris County residents can vote early in the Tomball area at the Tomball Public Works Building, located at 501 James St., Tomball, or at the Lone Star College-Creekside Center, 8747 W. New Harmony Trail, The Woodlands. Early voting hours in Harris County are 7 a.m.-7 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 29, and 1-6 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 30.
