After introducing the service in 2019, The Woodlands Township board of directors announced at its Nov. 20 meeting it will again offer shuttle service to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo in 2020.

The township's Park and Ride transportation service to Houston will bring riders to NRG Stadium for the event on weekends during the rodeo season, which will be March 7-8, 14-15 and 21-22. The service picks up riders at the Sawdust Park and Ride at 701 Westridge Road, The Woodlands.

This year, the service cost the township $30,000 and, per the board's remarks at the time, was viewed as a "trial run."

Round-trip transportation via the service is again $13 per person, and reservations will be required, officials said. Additional information about the service and links to make reservations online will be available in January, according to the township website.
