Hurricane Harvey benefit concert
Sept. 16
The Forgotten People hosts a benefit concert, "Better Together: Hope for Houston," in Rob Fleming Park. The concert features worship leaders and musicians from the Greater Houston area and attendees are encouraged to bring gift cards or monetary donations of at least $20 to benefit victims of Hurricane Harvey. 5 p.m. Rob Fleming Park, 6055 Creekside Forest Drive, The Woodlands. www.tfp.life/flood

YMCA Parent's Night Out
Sept. 16
The Woodlands Family YMCA hosts an entertainment night for children ages 18 months to 12 years to give parents an opportunity for a night on the town. Concert in the Park
Sept. 17
The Woodlands Township hosts a concert featuring Good Time Muffin and a sidewalk chalk competition beginning at 5 p.m. Blankets, coolers, lawn chairs and pets are permitted. 5:30-7:30 p.m. Free. Northshore Park, 2505 Lake Woodlands Drive, The Woodlands. www.thewoodlandstownship-tx.gov
